
Bears Wrap Up Day 1 Competition At Michael Johnson Invite

WACO, Texas – Freshman Jayla Simmons outpaced four of her teammates in the 200m Dash, while Ariel Raggs finished 30th in the 400m Hurdles, as the Bears held their own among an elite field of competition on Friday at the Baylor-hosted Michael Johnson Invite.

The two disciplines marked the only competition of the day for the Orange & Black who will continue action in east Texas on Saturday with five more events. Freshman Arielle Livingston will kick off Day 2 action for the Bears in the 100m Hurdles at 1:30 p.m. ET, while the 4x400m Relay team at 5:55 p.m. will cap MU's stay in Waco.
