Mercer Prepares To Host Brickyard Collegiate

MACON, Ga. -Â The Mercer women's golf team prepares to host the Brickyard Collegiate from the Brickyard Golf Club in Macon, Georgia, April 6-8. It is the last tournament of the regular season for the Bears before the SoCon Tournament from April 14-16.
The tournament was originally scheduled to be a 54-hole tournament with 36 holes on Monday and the final 18Â holes to be played on Tuesday. However, with rain in the forecast for Monday, the projected plan is for teams to play 18 holes on Sunday, starting with a 9:30 a.m. shotgun start. Then, another 18 holes will be played on Tuesday beginning with a 9 a.m. shotgun start.
The field consists of 11 teams that include an in-state school in West Georgia and Florida State as well.
Mercer won last year's Brickyard Collegiate and Mikayla Dubnik finished as the individual champion.
