Mikhnova Named Academic All-District

MACON, Ga. - Dzhastina Mikhnova was named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team.

CSC honors student-athletes who represent the highest caliber of academic and athletic achievement through their annual Academic All-District and Academic All-America programs.

To be nominated, a student-athlete must be in the lineup for 70% of the total matches played by the team that includes team scores and hold at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 GPA scale. No student-athlete is eligible until they are at least a sophomore academically and athletically.

In her first season with the Bears, Mikhnova and freshman Marie Bannmeyer led the Bears in doubles wins with seven. Mikhnova is majoring in management.
