2017 (Junior):

Last Season: Singles record 17-8 (at #2 most of the time) Doubles record: 9-15 at #1 (playing mostly with Olivier Stuart)
Singles 5-2 at #2, Doubles 3-4 at #1 partner with Olivier. Named first team for the southern Conference and second team in doubles with Olivier.
Fall 2017: won the mercer gridiron classic singles championship. Made history for mercer tennis program for being the first nationally ranked player (No.121 in the Oracle ITA Division I).
The only player from the southern conference to be ranked on either the men’s or women’s side.

2016 (Sophomore):

Played the majority of the season at the number one spot, notching a 9-12 record.
Also tallied an 8-15 mark in doubles play and paired with both Ruben Vanoppen and Arnav Mohanty during the season.

2015 (Freshman):

Recorded a 14-9 singles mark on the season, including a 7-2 record at the number three spot.
Named the SoCon Freshman of the Year.
Also earned a spot on the All-Freshman Team.
Tallied a 12-9 mark in doubles play, including an 11-6 record when paired with Anderson Scarpa.

BEFORE MERCER:

Sported a career-best International Tennis Federation (ITF) ranking on No. 926 in the world.
Rising as high as the No. 8 singles player in all of Canada, Philp also showed he is a solid doubles player as well when he and his partner captured the ITF Junior Group Two Doubles Championship in October of 2013.
