Brian "Bo" Bonacci

Brian “Bo” Bonacci joins the Mercer Strength and Conditioning staff as a graduate assistant.
Before Mercer, he was the assistant strength and conditioning coach at the University of Lynchburg in Lynchburg, Va. From August 2019-March 2020. He primarily worked with men’s basketball, women’s lacrosse, volleyball, and men’s and women’s swimming. He assisted the director with all 24 varsity sports and maintained upkeep of the weight facilities.
Prior to Lynchburg, Bonacci earned his first master’s degree at Wagner College while also working with the strength and conditioning team. During his stint at Wagner, he primarily worked with water polo and swimming & diving, while assisting with football, men’s basketball, baseball, and men’s and women’s lacrosse.
From August 2017 to February 2018, he was the head strength & conditioning coach for Southlake Carroll High School football. Bonacci started his career in strength and conditioning as an intern for the University of Texas football team.
