Connor Terry joined the Mercer Bears women’s soccer program in 2016 as a goalkeepers coach. Terry is responsible for creating and applying training programs to help develop the technique of the Bears goalkeepers. He also plays an important role in organizing and managing five youth soccer camps each summer.
In addition to his duties at Mercer, Terry has served as a youth soccer coach for the CGSA, MSA and Legion FC since 2011, working with athletes ranging in age from 8-19. Terry also conducts 1-on-1 sessions for the athletes.
From 2013-18, he served as a Georgia ODP/DTC Evaluator and Goalkeeper Trainer. His primary responsibility was to observe and evaluate elite soccer players across the state of Georgia and throughout the Southeast, while developing goalkeepers in Georgia.

- Helped Mercer win eight matches and make an appearance in the SoCon semifinalsÂ
- Trained Jordyn Ebert, who made a SoCon-best 96 saves, which ranked fourth among all NCAA Division I keepers.Â
- Ebert averaged 5.5 saves per match, the second-most in the SoCon and 59th-best total among all NCAA Division I keepers.Â
- Mentored six All-SoCon selections, including Ebert, a second-team goalkeeper
- Ebert also won United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-South Region honors and CoSIDA Academic All-District IV recognition
- 2019
- Mentored goalkeeper Jordyn Ebert who went 14-4-0 with a SoCon-best 102 saves
- Helped Mercer set a program-record for wins with 16
- The Bears were only one of 16 teams with 16 or more victories
- Ebert’s 102 stops on the year ranked inside the top-30 (26th overall) nationally
- Terry helped Ebert finish the year 39th nationally in save percentage (.836)
- 2018
- Mercer went 9-7-4 overall
- The Bears ranked second in the league with just 20 goals allowed per match. The Bears’ average of 1.00 goals against per contest was second to only the Furman Paladins.
- 2017
- The 2017 edition of the Mercer Bears finished 10-10-1 overall
- Jordyn Ebert ranked third in the SoCon and 63rd nationally with 92 saves. Ebert played in all 21 matches.

- The Bears went 10-9-1. Six of Mercer's 10 wins came in SoCon play.Â
- Goalkeepers Cristina Mursuli and Leah Cochran combined to make 91 saves for .784 save percentage. Mursuli earned eight wins while Cochran was credited with two.
