Nicole Waters joined the Mercer women's soccer program as a graduate assistant coach in June 2017. She came to Mercer after a playing stint with Czech Republican professional team 1. FC Slovacko Zeny.
A native of Terra Cotta, Ontario, Canada, Waters graduated from Dayton in May 2016 with a B.S. in exercise science. She starred for the Flyers from 2012-15, becoming the program's all-time assists leader (54) while being selected to the Atlantic 10 First Team three times. She was also the A-10 Midfielder of the Year in 2014 and 2015.
Waters' other professional playing experience included stints with TiPS-Naisten Liiga, Houston Dash, Seattle Sounders, Gulf Coast Texans, Toronto Lynx and Burlington Heat. She additionally has coaching experience as an assistant coach for the U18 Georgetown Soccer Club and owns National E and F coaching licenses.
