
Men's Tennis Drops 4-3 Match to Georgia State

MACON, Ga. – The Mercer men's tennis team fell to Georgia State, 4-3, on Monday afternoon at the LeRoy Peddy Tennis Center.
Mercer won the doubles point with wins on all three courts to take a 1-0 lead in the match. The Panthers won the first two singles matches to take a 2-1 lead. Anderson Scarpa won at the number four spot (6-4, 6-1) to knot the score, 2-2.
A win from Arsav Mohanty at the number six spot (6-3, 1-6, 6-1) gave Mercer a 3-2 lead, but Georgia State won the last two matches to clinch the win, 4-3.
The Bears will be back in action on Friday, March 20 against Furman at 3:00 p.m. in Greenville, S.C.
