Mercer Women Take Third at Berry Invitational

ROME, Ga. – Four Mercer women's cross country runners finished in the top-20 to lead the Bears to a third-place finish among 19 teams at the Berry Invitational 6K on Saturday morning.

Anna Grzeszczak (23:29.83), Courtney Czerniak (23:52.43), Victoria Rogers (23:54.03) and McKaylin Darsey (24:05.14) all placed in the top-20, including a top-10 finish by Grzeszczak.

Four other Bears – Kimmie Whiting, Bethanie Bailey, Shannon Millikin and Briana Wahy – finished under the 26-minute mark.

Mercer's total team time was 2:00:21.70. The Bears placed behind champion Florida A&M and host Berry College for third.

The Bears will compete next at the Southern Conference Championships in Chattanooga, Tennessee on Saturday, Oct. 29.
