Pro Bear Update: Greg Ranjitsingh Leads Louisville City FC to USL Title

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Former Mercer men's soccer standout goalkeeper Greg Ranjitsingh has led Louisville City FC in claiming the club's first United Soccer League Title in just its third year of existence.

Ranjitsingh notched four saves in the contest, earning the clean sheet as Louisville City defeated the Swope Park Rangers, 1-0. Ranjitsingh came thru in the clutch in the 74th minute and the 93rd minute, punching away near goals from the Rangers to preserve the clean sheet.

Ranjitsingh proved to be a dominant force in the USL this season, notching 48 saves in 69 shots faced on the year, while securing 11 clean sheets throughout the campaign. The former Bear led Louisville City FC to an 18-6-8 overall record, in addition to claiming the USL Championship.
