QUOTABLES
"We showed a lot of grit and determination to find a way to get it done against a very talented team. They have a lot of athletic guys and a pro player. He can make all kinds of shots; from runners to threes. I thought it was a great experience for us to play against someone as talented as they are. When you shoot 60% in the second half and have 20 turnovers we know that if we execute a little better and not throw it away as much, we probably could have gotten a little more separation at the end. They (Troy) are going to have a great year. I'm really thrilled about how our guys competed today. The biggest play in my mind was when we're up two, miss a shot, and we have three of our guys on the floor, determined not to let this one get away. That is what winners do."
Â
"Anytime you can do something to help a program like the Salvation Army that is helping so many people all over the world be better in everything they do, it goes even beyond the hurricane relief, because they're doing this every single day. It's a real blessing for our program and university to be able to partner together on something this. I'm thankful to Troy and Coach Cunningham that they chose to come over and be a part of this." - Head Coach Bob Hoffman
