Bagrou Invited to Compete in MLS Combine

MACON, Ga. – Mercer Men's Soccer star senior, Will Bagrou, has been invited to participate in the 2018 MLS Adidas Player Combine in Orlando Fla. The combine will take place from Jan. 11-17 at Orlando City Stadium, with representatives from all 22 MLS clubs, as well as incoming expansion team LAFC, in attendance.

Bagrou is one of just 60 invitees to attend the combine and is the only Southern Conference representative.

Bagrou will depart from Mercer as one of the most decorative student-athletes from the men's soccer program. Bagrou is a three-time All-South Region honoree and adds the MLS Combine invite to an already distinguished career in which he was named 2017 SoCon Male Athlete of the Year, four-time All-Southern Conference First Team honoree and two-time All-SoCon Tournament Team member. The Georgia native was also a MAC Hermann Trophy semifinalist during the 2016 season, while being named to the NSCAA All-America Second Team.

Bagrou ended his playing career ranked third in program history in goals scored with 37, third in career points (90) and fifth in career assists with 16.

The MLS SuperDraft will take place in Philadelphia, Pa., on Jan. 19 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
