MACON, Ga. – The Bears are back at Five Star Stadium this weekend, hosting the High Point Panthers in Mercer's third Southern Conference game of the year.

DOMINATING THE FACEOFF X
The Bears have taken control of the faceoff X this season and currently lead the SoCon and rank 10th nationally with a 57.6 faceoff winning percentage. Kiel Brennan leads the league and ranks 17th nationally at 58.2 percent, while Will Beecham is fourth in the SoCon and 25th nationally at 56.8 percent. Mercer is the only team in the league to have two players in the top 5 in faceoff percentage.

High Point holds a 3-2 advantage in the series and has won the last two meetings. The Bears won, 12-11, the last time the teams met in Macon.

High Point has started SoCon play with a 1-1 mark, having defeated VMI but falling to Richmond.

Connor Robinson and Chris Young both lead the Panthers with 10 goals, while Jason Ashwood and Michael LeClair have each notched a team-high 17 points. Both Ashwood and LeClair have scored nine goals and dished out a team-leading eight assists.
