QUOTABLES
"It was a tough one today. We got ourselves in a 2-0 hole but were able to cut into the deficit before the half. We had several good chances in the second half, unfortunately we weren't able to connect on all of them. We have ten freshmen on the team so this is expected as part of process. Hopefully we can learn from this and we look forward to our match with Marquette on Sunday." -- Head Coach Tony Economopolous
RECORDS UPDATE
• Mercer: 2-3-0
• Loyola Chicago: 3-2-0
NEXT MATCH
• The Bears will conclude the Marquette Invitational, facing the Golden Eagles of Marquette on Sunday, Sept. 3.
