Mercer set to face Wofford Friday, Furman Sunday
MACON, Ga. – The Mercer women's soccer squad will hit the road for their final swing away from Betts Stadium with two road matches this weekend. The Bears will first face Wofford this Friday (Oct. 12) before taking on the Furman Paladins on Sunday (Oct. 14).

SERIES HISTORY | LAST MEETING
Mercer owns a near perfect record against Wofford, leading the all-time series, 5-1. The Bears defeated Wofford 2-1 at Bear Field last season. Furman leads the all-time series against Mercer, 4-2-1. In their last meeting (9/21/18), the Bears dropped a hard-fought 1-0 decision to the Paladins.
NOTABLES
Wofford enters Friday's matchup most recently falling at UNCG, 6-2 (10/7/18). Wofford has netted 15 goals on the season for an average of 1.07 per outing. Hayley Younginer leads the team in points (9) with four goals on the year, including two game-winners. Maria Mon has seen the majority of action in between the posts this season, logging 882 minutes with a .784 save percentage. The Paladins are led by Andrew Burr who enters his 14th year with the program.
