Men’s Tennis Heads to Athens for ITA Regionals this Weekend

MACON, Ga. – The Mercer men's tennis team will head just up the road to Athens compete in the ITA Regionals this weekend. The tournament will be held at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex from Oct. 19-23.

The University of Georgia will welcome close to 100 players from 15 different schools. The teams joining Mercer and Georgia at the ITA Regionals are FAU, Florida Gulf Coast, Florida State, Georgia Southern, Georgia State, Georgia Tech, Kennesaw State, Stetson, South Florida, UCF, Florida, Miami and North Florida.

The action starts at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex on Friday, Oct. 19, at 9 a.m., with two qualifying singles rounds. Main draw will begin Saturday, with the event set to conclude Tuesday, Oct. 23.

NEXT UP
The men's tennis team will return to action when they travel to Winston-Salem, N.C., to participate in the Wake Forest Fall Invite beginning on Nov. 9.
