Bears Close Regular Season on Senior Night

MACON, Ga. – The Mercer Men's Soccer squad will close out its regular season tomorrow with a showdown against the ETSU Bucs at 7 p.m. at Betts Stadium. Prior to the contest, Mercer will honor its five seniors, which have accounted for three Southern Conference Championships.

SERIES HISTORY | LAST MEETING
Mercer is 9-5-3 all-time against ETSU, including 4-3 when played at Betts Stadium. The Bears finished 0-1-2 against ETSU last season, drawing 0-0 in two matches including the SoCon Tournament. The Bears are 1-2-2 in the last five matchups against the Bucs. Mercer's last home win against ETSU was a 3-0 victory, three years ago to this day.

Mercer's Senior Class will leave as one of the more successful classes in program history, accounting for 43 wins and three SoCon Championships.
Mercer is currently riding the second-longest active winning streak (8) in the NCAA behind Saint Mary's (15).
The Bears are a perfect 5-0 in conference play, looking to become the first SoCon team since Elon (2008) to run the league table without a loss or draw.

BATTLING THE BUCS
ETSU enters the final match of the 2018 regular season with an 8-6-1 overall mark, including 3-1-1 in league play. The Bucs are fighting for the No. 2 seed and are in need of a win and a Furman loss. Danny Barlow is the premiere threat for the Bucs with nine goals and one assist, ranking third in the conference in total points with 19. Cameron Woodfin is second on the squad with 11 points off four goals and three assists.
