Bears Wrap Up Fall Slate, Concluding Play at Wake Forest Sunday

Nico Guillon Claims Consolation Final

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Mercer men's tennis team concluded play at the Wake Forest Fall Invite Sunday afternoon. The tournament was held at the Wake Forest Tennis Complex over the weekend.

After a strong weekend of play, Olivier Stuart fell short due to retirement, dropping in the Consolation Finals of the A2 Singles Bracket.

Nico Guillon finished off the weekend with a straight set triumph over Charlotte's Oriol Puig, 6-2, 6-4, to claim the B2 Singles Consolation Final.

Stathis Tsurandis battled hard but came up short, falling to Kentucky's K. Humpfner, 7-6, 6-7, 6-1, in the Championship of the C2 Singles Bracket.
