What to know for Saturday’s basketball game at State Farm Arena
MACON, Ga. – As Mercer gears up for its men's basketball nonconference finale against Harvard at State Farm Arena in Atlanta on Saturday, fans are encouraged to observe the following details about the game.
#1 – Date/Time/Location
Tipoff is slated for 1:30 p.m. on Dec. 29 at State Farm Arena, home of the NBA's Atlanta Hawks.
#2 – Tickets
Tickets for Saturday's game can be purchased in advance by clicking here. General admission tickets are $12 each, plus fees. The State Farm Arena box office, located at Gate 2, will open at noon on Saturday.
#3 – Parking
State Farm Arena is located in the heart of downtown Atlanta, near the intersection of Marietta Street and Centennial Olympic Park Drive. Heavy traffic is expected in the downtown Atlanta area due to other events on Saturday. Fans can view parking options in the vicinity of State Farm Arena by clicking here.
#4 – Gate Information
Arena doors open at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, approximately one hour before tipoff. All fans attending the game must enter the arena through Gate 1, which is attached to the CNN Center.
#5 – How to follow along
There will not be a video broadcast for Saturday's game. Fans are instead encouraged to follow the action by tuning into "Voice of the Bears" Rick Cameron on 100.9 The Creek FM or on the SportsMic app. Fans can also track live stats and follow the team's twitter account for in-game updates.
#6 – Pre-game Mingle & Lunch Event
The Mercer University Alumni Association will host a pre-game Mingle and Lunch event in Atlanta before the game. The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Hudson Grille Downtown, located at 120 Marietta St. NW in Atlanta. To reserve a spot at the event, click here.
