Mercer Hosts Lehigh at Five Star Saturday

MACON, Ga. – Mercer's men's lacrosse team will look to rebound from their season-opening loss to Vermont as they host the Lehigh Mountain Hawks, this Saturday, Feb. 10 at Five Star Stadium. The game is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m.

This will be the first ever meeting between the two squads.

Scouting Lehigh
The Mountain Hawks are 1-0 on the season, having defeated NJIT, 13-8, on Saturday in Bethleham, Pa. Lehigh went 7-7 (4-4 in Patriot League) in 2017. The Mountain Hawks reached their seventh straight Patriot League Tournament and Picked up back-to-back home wins over nationally ranked Boston University and Princeton last season.

Honorary No. 24
Bryan Gibson will don Mercer's No. 24 jersey Saturday in honor of John Michael Night. A different Bear will wear the No. 24 jersey each week of the 2018 season.

Looking Ahead
Saturday's game is the second of six home contests for the Bears at Five Star Stadium. Mercer's next outing is Saturday, Feb. 13 at 7 p.m. when the Bears travel to Cleveland, Ohio to face Cleveland State.
