Bears set for three-day event in Greensboro, Ga.

GREENSBORO, Ga. – The Mercer men's golf team will co-host the 2018 Linger Longer Invitational alongside Kennesaw State over the next three days at the Great Waters course at Reynolds Lake Oconee.

Mercer will take on a 14-team field at a familiar course following last week's fourth-place finish at the USF Invitational in Tampa, Fla. Play will start at 8:30 a.m. Sunday with the Bears teeing off at 10 a.m. and after.

Coach Kayden's Take
"I am confident that we will be ready to play this week," said head coach Kirk Kayden. "The guys know the course well and need to focus on the things they can control; that's their own golf game.

"It is the strongest field we will play in all year, but we need to concentrate our attention on playing golf. It is an exciting time for Mercer golf to co-host one of the best events in the country."
