Bears Head to Chattanooga to Take on the Mocs Tuesday

MACON, Ga. – The Mercer women's tennis team will hit the road for their final road swing of the season, beginning with a match against Chattanooga this Tuesday, April 10 beginning at 4 p.m.

Scouting the Mocs
Chattanooga enters Tuesday's matchup holding an 8-6 overall record with a 3-2 Southern Conference mark. The Mocs most recently defeated Western Carolina, 5-2, this past Saturday. Chattanooga has seen success at the Guerry Tennis Center, with a perfect 6-0 home record. The Mocs are led by lone senior, Samantha Coswell, who has tallied a 6-7 singles record at the No. 1 singles slot this season. Chad Camper is serving in his second season as the head coach of the Mocs' women's tennis program.

The Bears will conclude their road swing traveling to Cullowhee, N.C. to face the Western Carolina Catamounts on Friday, April 13. Play is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.
