Bears Return Home to Face the Blue Hose Sunday

MACON, Ga. – The Mercer women's soccer squad will return home after a three-match road swing, to host the Presbyterian Blue Hose this Sunday, Sept. 2 at Betts Stadium. The match is slated for 7 p.m.

The Bears lead the all-time head to head, 5-0, over the Blue Hose. Mercer won 1-0 when the teams faced off last season in Clinton, S.C. (9/15/17)

Abigial Zoeller is second in the league in both goals (4) and points (10).

Prebsyterian has netted seven goals on the season for an average of 2.33 per outing. Kelsey Yeager leads the team in points (6) with a trio of goals on the year, including one game-winner. Megan Serrano has started in between the posts in all of Presbyterian's matches, grabbing 12 saves while allowing four goals. The Blue Hose are led by Brian Purcell who enters his 30^th year with the program.

The Bears will continue their home stand, hosting Austin Peay next Friday, Sept. 7 at Betts Stadium. The match is slated for 7 p.m.
