"Tonight was a disappointing result for our team at home," said head coach Tony Economopoulos. "We came out a bit complacent in the first half, but credit to Presbyterian for making it tough on us.
Â
"After making a few changes at halftime, we came out with a bit of energy and had a nice goal by Sarah [Adcock]. You have to credit Presbyterian again, though, because they fought for a pair of set-piece goals and came away with them. We'll have to get back on track against Austin Peay on Friday."
Â
Up Next
Mercer will remain home and regain focus for a pair of matches against Austin Peay (7 p.m., Friday) and Jacksonville State (2 p.m., Sunday) at Betts Stadium.
