Men’s Soccer Battles In-State Rival Georgia State

MACON, Ga. – The Mercer men's soccer team heads north on I-75 Saturday to face Georgia State at the GSU Soccer Complex. The Bears will put their three-game win streak while Georgia State puts its unbeaten streak on the line Saturday. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.

Aris Briggs leads the Panthers in scoring as he has 19 points. Briggs has scored nine goals this season, which ranks him second in the NCAA. Dylan Morris leads the team with three assists. Paul Tyson is the only goalkeeper the Panthers have used this season. He has appeared in all 780 minutes and has a goal against average of 0.92 on the season. The most goals he has allowed in a game this season has been two.
