Mercer suffers fifth loss of the weekend at Auburn
AUBURN, Ala. – The Mercer softball team suffered a 14-0, five-inning loss to Louisville on Sunday at the War Eagle Challenge.

Mercer returns to Macon with a 10-15 overall record, having dropped five games at the Auburn-hosted tournament. Micayla Rood and Amanda Schwartz mustered the Bears' two hits in the contest and freshman Bailey Pattison took the loss in the circle.

The Cardinals plated all 14 runs over the first three innings, including nine in the third frame.
