Bears opened 2019 outdoor season at Berry College

ROME, Ga. – The Mercer women's track and field program opened the 2019 outdoor season at the Berry College-hosted Victor Ice Breaker Duals on Saturday.

The 4x400 meter relay, 100 meter dash, 200 meter dash and 400 meter kicked off its 2019 season in a strong fashion. Madison Mueller, Marion Meadows, Tessola Duncan and Kennedi Weston-Shields won the 4x400 meter relay in three minutes and 58.92 seconds.

The individual wins were by Cherrish Wright in the 100 meter dash (12.12 seconds), Lauryn Dancy in the 200 meter dash (25.63 seconds) and Mueller in the 400 meter dash (59.03 seconds).
