Game Times Altered for Mercer Softball at Samford

Inclement weather has forced schedule changes
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Due to large amounts of rainfall in the Birmingham area, Mercer and Samford softball have postponed their originally-scheduled doubleheader on Friday school officials announced.

The two squads will instead play a doubleheader starting at 12 p.m. (EDT) Saturday at the Samford Softball Field and will not play a third game in the series. Entering the weekend, the Bears and Bulldogs were the top two teams in the Southern Conference.
