Mercer prepped for River Run Intercollegiate

MACON, Ga. – The Mercer men's golf team is set for another tough fall tournament this week and is headed to Charlotte to participate in the River Run Intercollegiate hosted by Charlotte and Davidson at the River Run Country Club.

The two-day event begins Monday at 8 a.m. with 36 holes on the first day – followed by an 18-hole Tuesday to finish up the tournament. Mercer will begin its day at 9 a.m. and will be paired with William & Mary and Richmond.

COACH KAYDEN'S TAKE
"We are coming off an event where we were very close to having an excellent event," head coach Kirk Kayden said. "I am confident that our guys will be able to finish strong this week and play committed golf on each and every shot. This is a solid field and we will need to be ready to play. It will be our first 36-hole day so we will need to be prepared mentally for that."
