Softball Announces Fall Slate, Jay’s Hope Partnership

Mercer set to play four different dates at Sikes Field
MACON, Ga. – Mercer head softball coach Stephanie DeFeo announced the schedule for the 2019 Mercer Fall Invitational, set to take place September 21, 22, 29 and October 6 at Sikes Field.
The first weekend will feature Enterprise State and Abraham Baldwin against the Bears on Saturday, Sept. 21, then Georgia Highlands and Georgia Military College on Sunday. The games on Sept. 22 will serve as "Gold Games" honoring Jay's Hope 4 kids with cancer.
In conjunction with the Gold Games, the softball program will be collecting the following items for donations: AXE Body Wash Gift Sets, Bath and Body Works Gift Sets, copy paper to mail our family event flyers, white legal sized envelopes, fast food gift cards $10-$15 each, child-friendly DVDs (G or PG rating), kid-themed pillowcases and card games for kids.
The final two days of the fall season will be Sept. 29 – featuring Gordan State and Georgia College – and Oct. 6 – with Anderson and South Georgia State.
