SCOUTING THE BEARS
Mercer enters the spring slate rested and ready for battle. Offensively, the Bears were led by a pair of players - Ally Fordham and Aliah Kitchens - who both had two goals. Kitchens led all players with five points in six matches. Pace Stephenson and Amaya Evans also found their way into the scoring column once each. In the net, Jordyn Ebert and Payton Jamieson received playing time. Ebert started five of six games and made 26 saves, stopping more than 75 percent of shots that came her direction. Jamieson played 90 total minutes and made five saves while allowing just one goal.Â
SCOUTING THE DOLPHINS
Jacksonville did play a match in the fall of 2020 and is coming off a difficult 2019 campaign in which it failed to win a single match, going 0-13-3. Olivia Abdallah led the Dolphins with five goals and was the only player to find the back of the net. Each of Abdallah's goals were assisted by a different player. After the exhibition against the Bears, the Dolphins will jump right in to ASUN Conference play as they take on North Florida.Â
