Schedule Changes Announced

The change features a new date for a matchup
MACON, Ga. – Southern Conference officials announced a change of dates to the league's men's basketball schedule regarding our matchup with Wofford.
The Bears were previously scheduled to play the Terriers in Hawkins Arena on Wednesday, February 2nd.
Mercer's new date has been moved up two days from its original and is now set for Monday, Jan. 31st at 7 p.m. as the Bears will continue to host Wofford in Macon, Ga.
The biggest upgrade to this matchup is that it is one of the two Bear's games that will be nationally televised on ESPNU. Both squads appeared in the mid-major national poll last season, with Wofford finishing their campaign at 15-9 overall and 12-5 in league play. While the Bears played in last year's title game of the Ingles SoCon Basketball Championship presented by General Shale Brick and went 18-11 overall and 8-9 in the SoCon.
