Mercer is set to play in Hawkins on Nov. 27 at 2 p.m.
MACON, Ga. – The Bears will play their first game back home after their trip to the Cancun Challenge, against Milligan University in the familiar setting of Hawkins Arena on Saturday Nov. 27 at 2 p.m.Â

In that contest, three players reached double-digits in scoring with Johnson (20), Haase (10), Glisson III (10). Felipe Haase and Neftali Alvarez combined for seven assists. Jalen Johnson matched his career high going 8-for-8 from the free throw line. That performance at the line is the highest single game percentage in the SoCon. Johnson also tallied two steals and three rebounds on the day. Mercer looks forward to playing tomorrow's game back at home in front of a supportive Hawkins' crowd.Â
 SERIES HISTORY The Bears and Buffs are set at 1-0 in the series with Mercer on top. The Orange & Black will look to continue their winning streak tomorrow afternoon.Â

Milligan has been under the direction of Bill Robinson since the 09-10 season, making the 2021-22 season his 13th with the Buffs. Since Robinson's arrival in 2009 his squad his finished in the top half of the Appalachian Athletic Conference nine times and has earned a trip to the NAIA national championship tournament twice. Last year's squad finished fifth in the AAC. However, Robinson and the Buffaloes are starting off their 2021-2022 season cold entering tomorrow's game with an overall record of 0-7. On top of that, they are also 0-5 in away matchups and only convert four 3-pointers per game to Mercer's nine.Â
