The Bears will battle the Blazers at 6 p.m.

MACON, Ga. – The Mercer men's soccer team travels to Birmingham, Ala., as it takes on UAB Sunday. Fresh off a 1-0 victory down in Florida, the Bears look to continue their winning ways away from home at BBVA stadium.

SERIES HISTORY | LAST MEETING
The last meeting between the bears and the blazers was in September of 2019 which saw Mercer snatch a 3-2 win away from home in an entertaining back-and-forth match.
NOTABLES

Midfielder Dylan Gaither scored in the previous match versus Jacksonville to bring his points total to seven for the season.
Mercer recorded twelve shots in their previous match with seven of them being on target.
Freshman goalkeeper Brant Zulauf had a shutout in his last match and has a save percentage of 87.5 so far this season.

SCOUTING THE BLAZERS
The Blazers are 1-7 this season having played a split schedule with matches in both the fall and the spring. UAB won their first match of the season 3-2 against Central Arkansas in overtime before going on a seven-game losing streak. Senior Joseph Buete has a team-high of four points this season from the midfield position. Freshman goalkeeper Caelan Whitehead has played 586 minutes this season making 29 saves.
