Mercer sets to face UAB on Wednesday
MACON, Ga. – The Mercer women's tennis team heads to Alabama for another road match on Wednesday. This time the Bears go to Birmingham and face UAB in a non-conference tilt.

Teams: Mercer (1-1, 0-0 SoCon) at UAB (0-3, 0-0 CUSA)

Scouting the Blazers
UAB enters the match with Mercer with a record of 0-3 on the season. On Feb. 6, the Blazers were defeated 7-0 by Mississippi State. This will be the first home match of the season for UAB. Their previous two home matches have been canceled.
In singles play this spring, the Blazers are 2-16 on the season. Sydney Clarke and Annalisa Smith have picked up the lone win in singles play. Smith has a win in No. 6 singles while Clarke as a win in No. 5 singles.
In doubles play this season, UAB is 0-9. The Blazers have played five different doubles teams. Only Jana Hecking and Megan Bertsrands have played all the doubles matches this spring together.
NEXT UP
The Bears return to the court on Saturday when they travel to Kennesaw State to take on the Owls. First serve is sets for 12 p.m.
