Mercer hosts Jacksonville State in midweek action
MACON, Ga. – The Mercer women's tennis team returns to the LeRoy Peddy Tennis Center for a midweek non-conference tilt against Jacksonville State on Wednesday afternoon.

Scouting the Gamecocks
The Jacksonville State Gamecocks come into the matchup with the Bears winners of its last two and 4-3 overall. On the weekend of Feb. 20-21, the Gamecocks defeated Spring Hill College, 7-0, and Nicholls State, 4-0.
Harriet Hamilton leads the team with a 6-1 record on the season. She is a perfect 3-0 in No. 2 singles and 3-1 in No. 1 singles. Dariana Prato follows with four wins. Prato has wins at No. 2, No. 3, No. 4 singles. As a team, the Gamecocks are 23-15 when playing singles.
In doubles, Jacksonville State is winning 73.7 percent of its matches. They are 14-5 in doubles matches this season. Charlie Croteau and Harriet Hamilton leads the team with six wins in doubles. They have collected a win in No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 doubles.

The Bears return to the court on Wednesday, March 10 when they travel to Johnson City, Tenn. to take on ETSU in southern Conference action. The Bears and the Bucs square off at 2 p.m.
