Bears Host Rattlers in Non-Conference Match Tuesday

MACON, Ga. – The Mercer women's tennis squad returns to action on Tuesday afternoon for a 2:30 p.m. match against the Florida A&M Rattlers at the LeRoy Peddy Tennis Center.

Scouting the Rattlers
Florida A&M enters Tuesday's match with a 2-7 overall record. Both the Rattlers' wins came in MEAC play as they defeated North Carolina A&T (7-0) and North Carolina Central (5-2). The Rattlers are coming off a 4-3 home loss to the South Carolina State Bulldogs.
Aylen Hubeaut is 5-4 on the year and has spent time in the top two flights. Hubeaut struggled when representing the Rattlers on court one, going 0-3, but she has been nearly unstoppable at No. 3 singles with a 5-1 record. Arielle Nealy has played both No. 3 and 4 singles for Florida A&M and is currently 5-4 overall. Nealy lost her lone match in the third flight, but boasts an impressive 5-2 record on court four. The duo has combined to earn 10 of Florida A&M's 16 singles victories. The Rattlers are 16-33 in singles action.
Florida A&M has used only four doubles teams through nine matches. Nealy and Rachel Harden are 4-3 overall and have played every match in the second flight. Adrienne Clayton and Claudia Sumala have won a pair of matches in third flight.
