SCOUTING ECU
East Carolina is led by first year head coach Michael Schwartz. The Pirates were picked to finish last in the preseason AAC poll. Despite returning six players from last year's team, many of those players are inexperienced. In fact, the Pirates return just 17.9 percent of their scoring from last season.
Coach Schwartz and his staff have added 10 new players to this year's roster. Three of those players are transfers in Quentin Diboundje (Tennessee), Jaden Walker (Iowa State), and Benjamin Bayela (South Plains).
