Men's Tennis Sweeps Georgia College

MACON, GA - The Mercer men's tennis team bounced back in a big way in their win over Georgia College. Mercer did not falter, sweeping GC by a score of 7-0. With the win, Mercer improves to 5-3 on the season.
Lucas Wayenburg and David Georgadze earned a 6-4 win at number one doubles. Andrew Branicki and Samuel Barrow picked up a 6-2 win at number two doubles with Danny Flynn and Samuel Macleod earning the 6-4 win at number three doubles.
In singles play, Lucas Wayenburg earned the 3-6, 7-5, 11-9 win at number one singles.
David Georgadze won 7-5, 6-2 at number two singles.
Danny Flynn picked up a 5-7, 6-3, 10-8 win at number three singles.
Samuel Macleod was dominant, earning a 6-1, 6-1 win at number four singles.
At number five singles, in his first action of the year, Marceau Fouilhoux won 6-4, 6-4.
Samuel Barrow earned the 7-5, 6-2 win at number six singles.
Mercer will be back in action on Friday, February 18 for a matchup with the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida.
