CLEVELAND – After falling short to No. 15 Jacksonville on Tuesday in Savannah, Ga., Mercer will return to action in Cleveland to face Cleveland State in a Saturday morning tilt.

Series History
This is will be the fourth meeting between Mercer and Cleveland State. A season ago, the Bears used five goals in the first to separate themselves from the Vikings for a close, 10-9 win in Macon.
Scouting Mercer
Mercer is led offensively by Sean Goldsmith, who has tallied 14 points on 11 goals and three assists. Ashton Wood is 14^th in the country, claiming 66% of faceoffs so far in the four games played. Versus Jacksonville, Daniel Shumake led the Orange & Black's offense with a pair of both goals and assists in the setback on Tuesday night.
Scouting Cleveland State
The Vikings, now an affiliate member of the ASUN, fell to Ohio State on the road in their opener by a 17-9 margin. Gannon Matthews and Adam Clark paced the CSU attack with two goals apiece against OSU.
