Mercer falls 13-4 in Staten Island to Seahawks

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – In the final game of their road trip, Mercer fell to the homestanding Wagner Seahawks by a 13-4 margin.

Matthew Winegardner, Nick Rockefeller, Cole Leggett and Christian Laureano tallied goals for the Bears (3-5) on the day in snowy Staten Island.

Collin Kelley stopped eight Seahawk shots while between the pipes for the entirety of the game.

Mercer will return home this upcoming Saturday to face Air Force at Five Star Stadium. Faceoff with the Falcons is slated for Noon.
