Bears return home to battle Air Force
MACON, Ga. – Mercer will welcome Air Force to Five Star Stadium for their final nonconference home game on Saturday.

Series History
The Bears and Falcons will meet for the 11th time on Saturday. While Mercer won last year with a six-goal fourth quarter for a 15-13 win, Air Force has the series lead at 8-2. Mercer is also looking for their first win over the Falcons in Macon.
Scouting Mercer
The Bears split their last two in their previous road trip – defeating Mount St. Mary's last Thursday and falling to Wagner on Saturday. Attacker, Sean Goldsmith, leads the Mercer offense with 25 points on 20 goals and five assists. In the 12-11 thriller over Mount St. Mary's, he tallied four scores on five shots on cage. Matthew Winegardner and Daniel Shumake follow with 16 and 15 points, respectively. Garrett LeClaire leads with 10 caused turnovers while Collin Kelley has stopped 97 shots on the season in the cage.
Scouting Air Force
After dropping their first four, the Falcons have won their last three heading into Macon. Three of those setbacks have come to ranked opponents: top-ranked Virginia, No. 12 Denver and No. 13 Jacksonville. Brenden Crouse leads the Falcons' attack with 30 points on 24 goals and six assists, while Brandon Dodd follows with 26 points on 18 scores and six helpers. Crouse's 3.43 goals per game ranks him 11th nationally, and Dodd's 3.00 places him 24th.
