Series History
Mercer and Hampton are meeting for the second time. The Bears took a 28-6 win in February 2020 game that featured 18 first-half goals for the 1-0 series lead.

Scouting Mercer
Mercer is led offensively by Sean Goldsmith's 26 goals through their 11 games, followed by Matt Winegardner's 14 goals. In the faceoff circle, Garrett Meuninck's 32 wins is the current season leader. Colin Kelley has spent most of the time between the pipes for the Bears. He has made 135 saves across 618-plus minutes and has scooped 33 ground balls. The Bears are looking for their first league win and to snap a four-game losing streak on Saturday.

Scouting Hampton
Hampton will also be looking to snap a losing skid when they face Mercer, as well as their first league win. Miles Fawcett's six points on five goals and an assist leads Hampton's scoring while Lonnie Jones and Derian Williams-Sturdivant follow with four apiece. Ian Groom leads in the faceoff circle with 60 wins on 117 opportunities as well as with 33 groundballs. Paxtin Powell has saved 117 shots in almost 339 minutes in the cage.
