SCOUTING VMI
Under first-year head coach Andrew Wilson, the Keydets have struggled to get on the winning side of the score line. The Keydets have been competitive in all games this season, but scoring runs by opponents have been hard to overcome for the Institute.
VMI is currently on an eight-game losing streak, dating back to December 13. All five of the Keydets' wins have come at home this season, but only two of the wins were against Division I opponents. Most recently, VMI lost to Wofford on the road, 86-67.
Asher Woods and Sean Conway lead the way for the Keydets having started all 19 games this season. The duo leads the team in scoring with 14.8 and 14.6 PPG, respectively. Conway leads the team in rebounds, averaging 5.8 per game. The Institute ranks second in the conference in free throw percentage and 3-point FG percentage.
