Mercer drops to 0-2 on the season
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Mercer women's tennis program (0-2, 0-0) fell 7-0 to Florida State (2-0, 0-0) on Sunday morning.
The Seminoles took the doubles point with the clinching decision on court two.
In singles, Marina de Diego Quinones played a close first set, only getting broken once, to fall 6-4 and subsequently 6-1 in the second. Teodora Ristic and Eden Schlagenhauf both almost forced a third set with their second sets finishing 7-5.
UP NEXT: Mercer returns home for three matches next weekend. The Bears will face Alabama A&M on Saturday, January 28 and Emmanuel College and Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College on Sunday, January 29.
