Saturday at 10 a.m. vs Alabama A&M
MACON, Ga. – The Mercer women's tennis program will play its first home match of the season on Saturday, January 28 at 10 a.m. against Alabama A&M at the Randy Stephens Tennis Center. Sunday's matches against Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and Emmanuel College have been postponed due to weather. The match against ABAC has been rescheduled for February 5. The match against Emmanuel has not been rescheduled at this time. Â

The Bulldogs earned a gritty win on Sunday afternoon against Tennessee State, prevailing 4-3. Alabama A&M dropped the doubles point, but fought back in singles to claim a win. The Bulldogs opened the season with a 7-0 loss to Lipscomb.

Mercer swept Alabama A&M last season at home. Mary Weston Courville earned doubles and singles wins on court one. Lekha Varudandi and Kristin Yordanova each won 6-0, 6-1 on court five and six, respectively.
