Coach Brad Ruzzo had the following comment about the signing of Omar Hernandez:
"We are excited to add Omar to the Bears soccer family. We feel that Omar has special qualities as an attacking player and look forward to him contributing on/off the field. Omar was the National Gatorade Player of the Year coming out of high school and continued his career at Wake Forest which is one of the best teams in the country. He will add much attacking experience to our returning group, and we believe that he has the potential to be one of the best attacking players in the league with his goal-scoring and playmaking ability."Â
