MACON, GA. –The Mercer Bears would fight until the very end of the match, falling to ETSU 2-1 at Summers-Taylor Stadium in Johnson City, Tennessee on Saturday, October 28.

Mercer moves to 5-5-7 on the season and 1-2-2 in Southern Conference play, while ETSU moves to 9-5-2 and 4-0-1. ETSU would strike first with a header in 15th minute. The Bears continued to battle up until the halftime whistle. The Bears would come out in the second half attacking the Bucs defense hard. Mercer would find the back of the net off the head of Sekou Agard. Omar Hernandez and Rayvon McGann would assist Agard on equalizing the game. However, ETSU would find an opening off a corner kick with three seconds remaining in the match.
