MACON, Ga. – The Mercer men's lacrosse program will play its second home game of the season on Saturday at 11 a.m. against Army at Five Star Stadium.

RECENT ACTION
Head coach Ryan Danehy is coming off his first win as Mercer's head coach with a 15-6 win over College of Holy Cross at Five Star Stadium in Macon, Georgia. Freshmen Jack Sullivan and Freshmen Michael Frederick's six points lead the way for the Bear's offense. Senior attackman Parker Junod would lead the way in goals with four. Graduate student Connor Purcell led the defense with four caused turnovers. Senior Wesley Chairs would also hold the Crusader's leading point scorer to one goal.
SCOUTING ARMY
Army is led by head coach Joe Alberici, who is entering his 17 seasons as Head coach for the Black Knights. The Black Knights are currently 2-1 and were picked to finish fourth in the Patriot League. The Black Knights cruised past Wagner 20-6 in a midweek match-up on Tuesday, February 21. Army was also able to upset #8 ranked Rutgers in a 14-13 game last Saturday, February 18.
The Black Knights are returning 47 players, along with 15 freshmen. Army's current leading point scorer is Junior Reese Burek who currently has 13 points (10 goals, 3 assists). Paul Johnson is second on the team with points with 9 points (4 goals, 5 assists).
