MACON, Ga. – The Mercer men's lacrosse program will welcome to Robert Morris to Five Star Stadium in Macon, Georgia for an ASUN Conference lacrosse game.

Saturday's matchup between the Bears and the Colonials will be the third meeting between these two lacrosse programs. The Colonials currently lead the series 2-0. The Last Meeting between these two programs was March 5, 2022, when the Colonials defeated the Bears 13-11 at Five Star Stadium in Macon, Georgia.

Head coach Ryan Danehy secured his second ASUN win against Bellarmine in a 15-12 game on Wednesday, March 29. Nine Bears scored in the afternoon. Senior Attackman Parker Junod led the way for the bears with five goals and two assists. Junior attackman Taylor Dooley and junior attackman Jack Parolin each had two for the bears. Senior attackman Carl Klepper, freshmen attackman Zach Basisty, freshmen attackman Michael Frederick, freshmen midfielder Thomas Strong, senior midfielder Matt O'Connor, and graduate student face-off specialist Ashton Wood each added a goal for the bears.

Robert Morris is led by Craig McDonald who is entering his second season as head coach for the Colonials. The RMU Colonials are currently 4-4 and 1-2 in ASUN conference play. They have had wins over Bucknell, St. Bonaventure, Canisius, and Cleveland State.
The Colonials return 34 players from the 2022 season, and they welcomed 12 new freshmen. The Colonials leading point scorer is Graduate attackman Taggart Clark with 25 points (18 goals, 7 assists). Behind Clark is Sophomore attackman David Burr with 21 points (14 goals, 7 assists). The Colonials third leading point score is Senior midfielder Elliot Holden with 14 points (8 goals, 6 assists).
